Our Store
We're a family-owned grocery store that is very much part of the Stinson Beach community. Located in an historic landmark building, our store offers an abundant supply of groceries—over 11,000 items!—from well-known brand names to locally-farmed, organic cheese, bread, wine, and produce. Whether you live in Stinson Beach or are visiting for the day, we have everything you need for your home, or for a beach picnic, barbeque, or day hike. Our coffee cart is open daily during summer with freshly-baked goods, coffee, tea and hot chocolate, while our deli offers delicious, handmade sandwiches and salads. Our Family
The Stinson Beach Market is owned by Sergio and Susy Vergara. Originally from Peru, the Vergaras are well-known and well-loved in the Stinson Beach community. The entire family, including daughters Alejandra and Natalia, work at the store that is renowned for its friendly, inviting atmosphere. The Vergaras support a variety of community organizations including local youth soccer teams, the Bolinas Public School District, the Stinson Beach and Bolinas Fire Departments, the Bolinas Museum, and the Stinson Beach Community Center. Sergio has also created a youth "Have Fun and Work" program which provides part-time employment opportunities for local children during the summer months.
